SPIRIT OF IOWA TRIBUTE BELL
The videos capture the magic of a night casting with our Bell Foundry On Wheels. Verdin has cast bells using the traveling foundry in over 118 communities across the country. The Spirit of Iowa Tribute Bell was cast and dedicated during Veterans Day community festivities by Verdin’s Bell Foundry On Wheels.
IOWA STATE FAIR, DE MOINES, IA
Forged in front of onlookers at the Iowa State fair, the Spirit of Iowa Tribute Bell fulfilled years’ work to honor veterans and raise money for those in need. The videos capture the spectacular night casting, the community, and the passion of two veterans who helped make it all happen.
HONOR BELL FOUNDATION, DENVER, CO
Verdin partnered with The Honor Bell Foundation to add military artifacts of twelve deceased veterans to 2200-degree molten bronze. Verdin then cast a special 1000 pound bell. The Honor Bell was dedicated at Fort Logan National Cemetery, where it will live and toll as a final tribute to veterans.
VILLAGE OF EVENDALE
The Village of Evendale, OH created a magnificent and lasting tribute to veterans, police, and fire fighters. The tower was created at the Verdin factory and delivered Using its one-of-a-kind “Bell Foundry on Wheels,” a special on-site casting event, Verdin enables the entire community to help create the custom bronze bell that will last generations, and to experience the casting of the bell.
HOLY CROSS-IMMACULATA, MOUNT ADAMS, OH
Holy Cross-Immaculata Church in Mt. Adams, Ohio, completed the restoration of their three cast bronze church bells that were in urgent need of repair. The 150-year-old bell tower was silenced because the equipment that houses and rings the bells had become dangerously fragile and in need of replacement.

ST. BARBARA CATHOLIC CHURCH, INDEPENDENCE, KY
Three bells and a 60-foot tower were erected by Verdin for Saint Barbara Church, bringing the beauty of bells back to the church and community.
NORFOLK, VA
A 23-bell mobile carillon designed and built by Verdin, created from a matched set of bells cast for a Tennessee college early in the 20th century, serves as a rolling ambassador for the Virginia Arts Festival. It is both a musical instrument and exquisite piece of sculptural art — playable by the most gifted carillioneurs and patrons of the Virginia Art Festival in communities all over Virginia.
